Absolute Beginner to Advanced Spanish
Supervised Program
The program develops the communication abilities of the student through interactive learning activities. The program's main objective is to apply, in a practical manner, the knowledge acquired in the classroom through conversation workshop activities such as games and daily life situations. The communicative objectives of the program relate to basic communication needs in a family, school, or social setting.
The environment is conducive to learning. The classrooms are airy and bright, there are recreational areas, pools, a library, a bookstore, a money exchange service, a copy center, a computer lab, telephones, and a cafeteria . Additionally, there is a clinic where physicians provide medical services from 8.00 to 14.00(2:00PM), Monday through Friday.
The program consists of 6 lessons of Spanish language study daily, scheduled from 8.00 to 14.00(2:00PM), Monday through Friday. All levels are offered, from beginner to advanced, and lessons are held in small groups of no more than 5 students, allowing the school to match students with the group exactly suited to fulfill their needs, taking into consideration their knowledge of Spanish, ability to communicate, fluency, origin, and age.
Students will learn the Spanish language and the Latin American culture during the course. The program is designed to develop conversational fluency in the shortest time possible. In the classroom a "Total Immersion", also known as Spanish-only, policy is maintained. The program is dedicated to meeting the individual's needs.

Accommodations - Homestay with a Mexican Family
An intrinsic part of the High School Program is living with a Mexican host family. This provides further opportunities to speak Spanish, and experience the Mexican culture first hand. Housing, three daily meals and transportation to and from school are included. Students will share bathrooms and bedrooms with other teenagers attending the program, or members of the host family.
Host families are carefully selected through the Housing Office to insure that the host families have experience with teenagers. They offer students exceptional room and board services. All concerns are taken care of and an effort is made to integrate every student into his/her host family.
