Program Description
Intensive & Creative Program (for all levels of German) is offered. The program includes 20 lessons per week of German language instruction plus 6 to 8 intensive lessons per week of in small groups. During the intensive lessons students at different levels will practice German, talking about special interests and topics and to gain experience in practical language structures. The classes take place in the city, in the countryside or while visiting places of interest in and around Salzburg. Intensive language training is in small groups, 2-3 afternoons per week (each lesson is 45 minutes)
Included In The Program

Proficiency test (taken on the first day of the course) Course books (returned to the school at the end of the course) Achievement certificate Accommodation in 4 bed rooms (arrival Sunday, departure Friday or Saturday) Full board (3 meals per day) Supervision 24 hours per day Activity Program Transfer on arrival and departure to and from Salzburg rail station or airport NRCSA emergency insurance (for study dates in the foreign country)

Super Sport (All Levels of German)
This program provides the sport fan with an opportunity to enjoy alpine and water sports (2-3 sporting events per week). All these activities are supervised by professional instructors and Amadeus Ferienschule teachers so that you will practice your German in a relaxed and adventurous atmosphere. No previous experience or equipment is required, just a swimsuit and a keen sense of adventure.
Activities Included:
This program provides the sport fan with an opportunity to enjoy alpine and water sports (2-3 sporting events per week). All these activities are supervised by professional instructors and Amadeus Ferienschule teachers so that you will practice your German in a relaxed and adventurous atmosphere. No previous experience or equipment is required, just a swimsuit and a keen sense of adventure.
Activities Included:
- Rafting tour through alpine valleys
- Paragliding for beginners: Theory, equipment, take off, flights and landing
- Canyoning, crossing alpine rivers and valleys
- Mountain climbing with swimming in an alpine lake
- Mountain climbing "Untersberg"
- 3 sport excursions to lake "Wolfgangsee":
- Water ski, sailing, windsurfing and swimming
Music & Culture (some knowledge of German very useful!)
For those who love music and theatre, culture, art and history this program of afternoon or evening activities gives the student the opportunity to get in close contact with the "Salzburger Festspiele" (Salzburg Music Festivals). The most famous artists and directors work in Salzburg during summer and students will see how they prepare themselves and their orchestra (Vienna and Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra) for operas and concerts.
