| Accommodation - Homestay |
Students stay in a single or shared room with one of SILC's carefully selected host families and receive 3 mails daily. For young learners there is no more realistic method to quickly acquire the basic mechanics and particularities of the French language than to live with a family. The daily contact with the host family provides the discovery of another way of life and different ideas, and it permits development of strong and lasting relationships between those involved. SILC believes that, from a broader point of view, this is the first very important step to discover new values of understanding and friendship between the peoples of the world, leading to better relationships between countries and cultures.
On the first day of class, the host family will accompany the student to the school.
