| Program Activities |
After lunch the real fun beings. Every weekday afternoon students have their choice of two organized activities, such as swimming in one of Berlin's many lakes or rowing in Tiergarten Park. Of course you'll get to relax as well, with activities such as inline skating, swimming in Lake Wannsee, rowing in Tiergarten Park or just dancing in one of Berlin's trendy new clubs. During the various activities students will have plenty of time to meet, socialize, and make friends with each other.
Other activities include guided tours of Berlin by real "Berliners". These tours allow students to see Berlin as most tourists never would. Students will get to see places like Potsdamer Platz, Brandenburger Tor, and Museum Island where lots of outdoor concerts take place in summer time.
Students will also have a change to see the area around Berlin as well. Every Saturday there is an organized full-day excursion. Past excursions have included: Potsdam, Castle Rheinsberg, or Sachsenhausen, a Third Reich concentration camp. The exact excursions will vary depending on when you attend the program, weather, etc.
