Accomodation & Arrival Information | Biarritz, France

Accommodation - Homestay

Students stay with carefully selected host families. Generally each host family has one or two students per room, per family. Student will always be placed with someone who speaks a different native language. All of the host families are quite close to the school and town centre (approximately 5 to 20 minutes by foot).

On the first Monday of the course a member of the host family will accompany the student to the school. Biarritz is a very friendly, safe town, and easily navigated by foot, bike or bus. The host family provides all meals. On weekdays lunch is packed for each student by the host family, and it is eaten with classmates. On Wednesday everyone joins in a picnic during the excursion. On the weekend students will have lunch with their host family.

If you need any specific medical treatments or have any allergies, please advise NRCSA  upon registration. This allows us to notify the host family so that they can assist the student upon arrival. Arrivals at the homestay are on the Sunday before the first day of class, and departures are on the Saturday after the last day of class.

Arrival & Departure Information

  • Arrival transfer from the Biarritz airport or train station is provided by the host family.
  • Arrival transfer from the Bordeaux airport or train station can be arranged on request and at additional cost.
